Andy Pirruccello is the head of Employee Experience at The E.W. Scripps Company. In this role Andy is responsible for strategy and execution of all areas that impact the employee experience, from employment branding through exit and alumni status. Andy works to create continuous feedback loops where employees are enabled to co-create their experience at the company. Prior to this role, Andy has held several specialized roles within the HD-OD space including, performance management, talent management, talent programs, assessments, executive coaching and learning & leadership development.

Andy’s approach to work combines his background in industrial/organizational psychology with skill sets in design thinking, user experience design and data analytics. Andy is a voracious learner, deeply curious and enjoys collaborating across organizational silos to solve complex problems that will have positive impacts on people’s lives.

Andy has written about employee experience for HR Tech Outlook Magazine, has been a speaker at the Conference Board’s Performance Management Conference, has spoken at the annual Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) conference and has been featured as a chapter author in the SIOP professional practice book, Performance Management Transformation: Lessons Learned and Next Steps.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he lettered in football and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. Additionally, Andy holds an Advanced Design Thinking certification from IDEO U and a UX Design certification from Google. Andy resides in Cincinnati, OH with his wife – Anna , twin boys – Rosario and Ezra, and their standard poodle – Enzo.
