Brittany Persinger is a knowledge management expert and mentor with over a decade of experience designing and leading knowledge management initiatives and programs with international organizations, most recently as Chief of the global KM Unit at the UN World Food Programme. Now, as Managing Consultant of BrightWing Consulting LLC, she helps international organizations turn fragmented knowledge into collective power through designing people-centered KM strategies, building learning cultures, and creating practical tools to help teams move from silos to synergy.

One of Brittany’s core interests is ensuring KM as a discipline is relatable and accessible. She is a co-founder of the Empower KM Conference, a boutique KM conference focused on connecting emerging voices and KM practitioners and fostering dialogue, collaboration and innovation for all. She also co-hosts Not Another KM Podcast, where she and her co-host roast buzzwords, side-eye frameworks, and interview guests who help breathe life back into knowledge management conversations.

Brittany has been a keynote speaker at several KM conferences, including APQC’s annual KM Conference, the Knowledge Summit Dublin, and the Empower KM Conference. She has previously written on KM topics for the KM Institute.

Brittany is currently based in Amman, Jordan. When she’s not nerding out about knowledge retention strategies or Communities of Practice, you can find her travelling, lifting weights, and testing out her best bachata moves at ballroom dance lessons.
