About the Author
Tamar Cohen is the VP of employee experience at Travelers. She has been in this role for 2 years, where she is responsible for creating transformational programs that drive business value. With her previous experiences in customer experience, Tamar believes that driving a holistic human experience is where true transformation comes through. She has over 15 years of proven experience creating human-centric transformations across large and small organizations including Citibank, Zoetis and Travelers.
Tamar’s approach starts at the intersection of culture/brand, design and experience, all driven towards business outcomes. Her success is based around partnerships, data and research, finding initiatives that break through the silos to drive forward the most impactful customer/ employee experiences that drive business value.
Tamar has an insatiable curiosity about human behaviors, creativity and how geopolitics impacts our work life. She has been a keynote speaker at multiple events including Forresters B2B CX Conference, Reuters Customer Success Conference and dozens of company events. She has also been invited as a podcast guest on the Jeanne Bliss program, The Human Duct Tape Show.
Tamar lives and works in New York City. In addition to her work on the human experience, Tamar skis, reads, hangs with her kids. She also is a silver and gold level competitive ballroom dancer, performing in both Latin and Smooth styles.
