Submission Guidelines

The SMG/Reworked community of peer contributors provide answers to today's most challenging problems and information on topics including employee experience, collaboration and productivity, learning and development, leadership and all aspects of the digital workplace.

Reworked selectively accepts articles from industry professionals that meet our editorial guidelines.

What We Look For

We are looking for original articles that share unique and useful information on topics within our broad areas of coverage: collaboration, productivity, employee experience, culture and information management. How-to articles, actionable tips or thought pieces which bring new ideas or unique experience to our readers are all welcome.

Keep in mind: our audience is a knowledgeable and engaged group, so write your articles for professionals with 10 or more years of experience in their fields. But chances are if you worked through an issue or overcame a challenge, others are experiencing the same and would benefit from hearing about what you did. 

What We Aren't Looking For

We love to hear about your experience in the field, but please don't promote your company. We would prefer to work with practitioners, but will selectively accept articles from people working for vendors who share advice, tips and thought-leadership content which involves the industry as a whole.

What to Expect

If we accept your application, here are a few things to know:

  • All articles are subject to editing.
  • Links may be added for context.
  • Art will be added at the discretion of Reworked's editors.
  • Reworked will promote your article on our homepage, in our newsletters and social channels.
