Orgvue's new Henshaw AI suite aims to automate organizational data analysis, with the goal of slashing workforce planning time from months to minutes for enterprise HR leaders.
The London-based company announced the launch Dec. 3. The platform introduces Henshaw Roles for automated job architecture and Henshaw Assistant for natural language data queries. The platform was named after the drafter of the first organizational chart, George Holt Henshaw.
According to company officials, the technology drastically reduces the manual data work by "by automatically grouping similar positions into clearly defined roles, role clusters and job families." The release is available in early access, with additional capabilities planned for a 2026 release.
Impacted Audiences for Henshaw AI

- Large enterprises managing complex organizational structures.
AI Reshapes Workforce Planning Landscape
Organizations are replacing rigid org charts with AI-powered platforms. These tools map skills, predict gaps and enable real-time planning.
A January 2025 World Economic Forum study found 86% of employers expect AI to transform their business by 2030. Meanwhile, 39% of workers believe new technology will render their current skills outdated within that period.
This pressure forces executives to rethink how they structure organizations and deploy talent.
Generative AI Enables Skills-Based Workforce Intelligence
A new generation of AI-driven platforms uses machine learning to map skills, match employees with opportunities and drive internal mobility. These tools help organizations understand workforce capabilities in ways static job descriptions never could.
However, HR leaders recognize that critical conversations about AI's impact on teams are being overlooked. The technology creates new pressure points:
- Performance management: AI flags patterns but risks creating hyper-surveillance cultures without proper context.
- Workload dynamics: Employees report needing to "manage the AI," adding invisible labor not captured in productivity metrics.
- Skill validation: Employees struggle to demonstrate value when AI automates tactical tasks.
- Knowledge appropriation: AI systems can concentrate power and marginalize workers.
Strategic Implications
Business leaders must now master AI-powered people analytics to build effective org structures.
AI can identify emerging skill gaps and predict automation opportunities. But human decision-makers must retain authority in talent decisions.
Organizations that proactively invest in their people will mitigate talent gaps. This unlocks innovation as the workforce learns to co-create with AI systems.
We believe that AI will not replace the workforce but transform it. Henshaw is built to support human judgment by automating the time-consuming steps of workforce design, so people can focus on what matters: thoughtful design for human-AI collaboration that improves productivity and profitability.
