SAN FRANCISCO: Reworked, the leading employee experience and digital workplace professionals community brought to you by Simpler Media Group (SMG), today announced the 2024 Employee Experience Leader of the Year and the full list of Reworked IMPACT Award recipients across 8 categories. The Reworked IMPACT Awards celebrate exceptional work in the fields of employee experience and the digital workplace. 

 

The most prestigious award is the Employee Experience Leader of the Year. This award is presented to an individual who demonstrates excellence in evolving the overall employee experience, including workplace programs, management processes, technology and culture.

 

Reworked’s 2024 Employee Experience Leader of the Year is Diane Psaras, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for VITAS Healthcare. 

 

Judges were impressed by the number of initiatives Diane had undertaken to enhance the employee experience and improve recruiting and retention for VITAS Healthcare. Judges praised the layered nature of Diane’s initiatives and her use of survey data to demonstrate the measurable impact of her initiatives. Her role within the organization is a challenging one, but all our judges felt Diane had risen to the task beautifully.

 

Leader of the Year finalists who received honorable mentions include Emily Youngerman, Director, Employee Engagement and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Tricon Residential, Chris Harrer, Associate Vice President, Internal Communications at Comcast, and Kerry Klein, VP of Talent Experience and Learning (TEAL Team) at CrowdStrike. 

 

Reworked is also honored to announce winners in the following practitioner categories: Employee Journey Innovation, Collaboration Excellence and Innovative Use of Workplace Technology. These categories honor departments or teams for their efforts. The 2024 honorees include:

  • Employee Journey Innovation (Silver): Talent Development & Organizational Capability — Employee Experience & Corporate Learning, GM Financial
  • Collaboration Excellence (Gold): The Engagement Catalysts Community, IBM Research

  • Innovative Use of Workplace Technology (Silver): Digital Internal Communications, Comcast

New to this year’s program are awards that recognize EX vendors for the work they’ve done on behalf of customers to improve the employee experience. Vendor categories include: Most Innovative Workplace Productivity Solution, Excellence in Employee Intranet & Communication Platforms, Best Learning Innovation for the Hybrid Workplace and Best Innovation in Employee Engagement. The 2024 honorees are:

Winners were chosen from qualified nominees who were required to be employee experience leaders, departments/teams or vendors that deployed superior employee experience initiatives or programs over the past year. Judging was completed by a panel of practitioners and industry specialists, led by Reworked Editor-in-Chief Siobhan Fagan, with the winner and honorable mentions selected based on information provided through the nomination process.
