In Brief
- Employee Newsletter turns existing intranet pages into branded email without a second tool.
- Sends can be scheduled, targeted to specific security groups, and tracked by opens and per-item clicks.
- Included in every ThoughtFarmer subscription at no extra cost.
ThoughtFarmer launched a newsletter feature today that lets internal comms teams turn existing intranet content into branded email without the need to leave the intranet.
Employee Newsletter sits inside the intranet's Broadcast Center alongside two other existing distribution options: an automated digest that pushes an employee's most-read content and a one-off broadcast for time-sensitive alerts. The newsletter adds a scheduled, editorially curated send that pulls directly from intranet pages and news posts. Links bring readers back to the intranet to read the full news item.
The feature launches with three pre-built templates: Editorial, Event Invite or Employee Spotlight, plus the option to build a newsletter from scratch. Any newsletter a team builds can be saved as a template. Existing intranet permissions carry over, so employees only receive content they were already cleared to see. Analytics track opens, total clicks, unique clicks and clicks per item.
The feature is included in every ThoughtFarmer subscription at no additional cost.
Employee Newsletter is the latest in a run of product releases from ThoughtFarmer this year. In April, the company moved its AI Assistant to general availability, completing a three-part native AI suite alongside AI Create and AI Enhance.
